Job's Daughters

- Bethel 3 of Price Utah of Job's Daughters International has resumed meetings for the spring term. Archaeology Week at the Prehistoric Museum

- May 4-11, 2013. Saturday, May 4 - Family Activity Day from 10am -2pm Raffle at 11am, noon, 1:00 pm Drum circle - Noon to 1:00 pm. Nine Mile field trip, Wednesday, May 8 - Members Only Event, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in USU Eastern Classroom, 155 East Main Street (upstairs). There will be a lecture by Dr. Riley and a sampling of the foods that the Fremont may have eaten. Scoodeo - Attention wheelchair and scooter users: Active Re-Entry is sponsoring a Scoodeo (Wheelchair and Scooter safety training) on May 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Carbon County Housing Authority Community Room, 251 South 1600 East, #2647 in Price. Price Mom & Me Playgroup

- Looking to get out of the house and do something fun with your kids? Join our playgroup today! Price Mom & Me meets twice a week and is run by our mom volunteers. Do you have concerns about your child's development?

Carbon School District is conducting a FREE Screeing day for possible enrollment in district preschools at Creekview, Wellington, Bruin Point and Castle Valley Center, or Head Start in Wellington or Price. The screenings include speech and language, developmental, hearing, and vision. They will be done on March 27 at the Carbon School District Office Building. The Other Side of Utah Art & Photography Exhibition

- at the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum. The Exhibit will run February 23-May 10, 2013. This is a fabulous exhibition containing different types of media including: acrylics, conte', computer graphics, mixed media, oils, photographs, sculpture, and watercolor. (general admission rates apply)

Carbon/Emery County Newcomers Association

- is a support group for Family and Friends of Same Sex Oriented individuals. This group meets to provide a supportive community and safe haven for families and friends who are struggling with concerns and questions about gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual issues that loved ones are experiencing. Join us to talk with others who have already gone through what you are going through. We meet at the USU/College of Eastern Utah on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the board room of the Jennifer Leavitt student center. All are welcome. Free Women's Volleyball

- every Tueseday and Thursday at 10 a.m. until noon. Come check it out and bring a friend. Everyone is welcome. There is space for children to play. Casual, friendly atmosphere. The Southeast Early Intervention Program

- is a State and Federal home based program providing services to assist families in promoting developmental skills in children birth to three years of age. Contact Price office 637-3950 or Castle Dale office 381-2667.
