Carbon County teenagers, adults and children rally at the Price Peace Garden last Saturday in support of American military personnel.

The specially planned event attracted participants from all segments of the Carbon County community.

The picnic, organized by local residents, was presented in coordination with a national celebration to salute all men and women serving in the United States armed forces.

The troop rally and picnic included entertainment, booths, the county's rock climbing wall and plenty of flags flying in the sky.

The temperatures in the Castle Valley area were delightfully warm and the weather provided a perfect atmosphere for the celebration of patriotism.

Money raised during the event will be used to help the troops and families.
