CITY OF PRICE NOTICE OF ELECTION

    CITY OF PRICE
NOTICE OF ELECTION

	The City of Price, Utah, hereby gives notice that a municipal
election will be held this year to elect persons to two (2) Council
positions and the position of Price City Mayor with four (4) year
terms. You must state which position you wish to file for at the time
of filing. Election filing period is June 1 to June 7, 2013.
Candidates shall file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the
City Recorder at the City Offices, 185 E. Main, Price, Utah, during
office hours and not later than the close of normal office hours
between June 3 and June 7, 2013. Office hours are Monday through
Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CANDIDATE ARE (UCA 20a-9-203):

	1.   	Registered voter of the municipality (City of Price).

	2.   	Resident of the municipality (City of Price) for a period of 12

		consecutive months immediately before the date of the election.

	3. 	In accordance with the Utah Constitution Article IV, Section 6, 
		any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a 
		felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against 
		the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until the r
		ight to hold elective office is restored.

	For purposes of this Election, the polling places for the Election
shall be consolidated as follows:

Voting Precincts #16, #17, #30, #31, #32-34 will be held at the Carbon
County School District at 251 W. 400 N. in Price.
