Two damaged cars lie 50 yards apart after colliding at the intersection of Main Street and 700 East Wednesday morning shortly before 8 a.m. In the foreground, rescuers from the Price Fire Department get ready to remove the crumpled door of the red Ford Taurus driven by 69-year-old Albert Blaha of Helper. In the background, the white Chevrolet Malibu driven by Jennifer McGann, 38, of Price, is in the intersection. According to the Price Police report, the collision occurred shortly before 8 a.m. when the eastbound Taurus ran a red light on Main Street and was broadsided by the Malibu, which was southbound on 700 East. The Malibu was spun around on impact and the Taurus wound up in the CJ's Do-It parking lot. Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Castleview Hospital. There were no passengers.
