PRICE - Our loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and friend, David Wade Berdan, age 46, passed away April 19, 2013 at his home in Price.
He was born Sept. 17, 1966 in Moab to William Lynn, Sr. and Donna Kaye Wood Berdan.
Married Lezlie Baucom Feb. 18, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nev. They renewed their vows on April 18, 2003 at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price.
David attended East Carbon High School. He received certifications in heavy equipment and his CDL from College of Eastern Utah, but his love was for coal mining. David loved the outdoors and being with his wife, family and friends. If he wasn't attending a Dallas football game or a Jazz basketball game he was camping, boating or riding his Harley. David is a one of a kind guy who never met a stranger. He was the life of the party and was loved by everyone that knew him. He will be dearly missed by all.
Survived by his loving wife, Lezlie Berdan, Price; children, Jeremy (Brandi) Berdan, Billings, Mont., Jared (Tammy) Mayne, Littleton, Colo; mother, Donna Kaye Berdan Dye; grandchildren, Lysaria May, Kacin Charlie and Kaleb Miles; siblings, Bill (Michelle) Berdan, Oklahoma, Kevin (Heidi) Berdan, Sandy; Theresa (Billy) Baker, Spring Glen; mother and father in law, George (Lucy) Baucom, Odessa, Texas; brothers-in-law, Steven (D'Anna) Baucom, Dripping Springs, Texas, Robert (Anja) Baucom, San Juan, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father William Lynn Berdan, Sr.
Funeral Mass, Wednesday, April 24, 2013, 10 a.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Tuesday evening 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Tuesday and Wednesday one hour prior to service at Mitchell's. Committal service, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
