Robert LaGrand Mathie "Ratchet"

Loving brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Robert L. Mathie, passed away March 31, 2013 at the age of 78.

He was born on Nov. 23, 1934 in Huntington to the late Samual & Ailena Mathie - step dad Rex Fillmore. He married Yvonne Leonard May 15, 1957, later divorced.

Survived by brothers Lamar, Alex and Gordon, sisters MaNell and Lauretta, children Lynn (Steph) Mathie, Jackie (Rod) Orr, Gary Mathie, Sherrie Bugni and BeLinda (Rocky) Emerson, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert "Ratchet" was a retired General Contractor. He loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing with family and friends was his passion.

HEAD EM IN, HEAD EM OUT!!!!!

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Lone Peak Park Pavilion, 10140 S. 700 E., in Sandy from 5 - 9 p.m.
