Suspect disarmed in south Price
Price Police and other law enforcement officers converge on a house on the 500 South block of 100 East Monday morning in response to armed man causing a disturbance. According to Price Police Chief Kevin Drolc, officers David Wilkinson and Stephen Regruto arrived at the scene and found the suspect in the driveway. The man then ran into a garage and came out bearing a shotgun, making gestures that indicated he might be contemplating suicide. The officers rushed him and succeeded in disarming him. The gun discharged, sending pellets in the wall of the garage, and somehow injuring the man's hand, the chief said. The Sun Advocate is withholding the name of the suspect because age information was not immediately available.
