PRICE - Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Phyllis Park Diamanti, age 88, passed away peacefully March 27, 2013 at Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation in Price.
She was born Oct. 5, 1924 in Fall River, Idaho to John and Florence Decker Park.
Married Chris N. Diamanti on Jan. 15, 1944 in Seattle, Wash. Their marriage was later blessed in the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price. He died on Nov. 21, 1982.
Phyllis was a longtime resident of Carbon County where she enjoyed cooking, gardening, feeding homeless animals and doing handiwork. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by her daughter, Susan Huff, Carbonville; daughter in law, Rita Diamanti, Helper; grandchildren, Matt (Melanie) Huff, Jason (Candi) Huff, Philip (Kristie) Diamanti, Gregory Diamanti, Dina Diamanti; also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack Park, Salt Lake City.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Chris; son, Bill Diamanti; her brothers and sisters; and brother-in-law, Lee "Londy" Diamanti.
Graveside service, Friday, March 29, 2013, 2 p.m., Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to service at Mitchell Funeral Home.
