A fire in Bolotas Subdivision on Scofield Reservoir on Monday morning has taken out one cabin as fire fighters work to protect others this morning.

The fire, which is of unknown origin at this time, was reported about 7:15 a.m. and was originally described as being "one half mile north of the north most subdivision on Scofield Reservoir." However when fire fighters arrived they found it to be on the second row back from the lake in Bolotas.

Fire fighting units from Helper and Price are fighting the blaze as the Carbon County Sheriff's Department and the Highway Patrol responded for security purposes.
