CHS boys soccer opens Region 12 schedule with win

The Carbon High boys soccer team came into the 2013 with the intention of competing to be a top team in Region 12.

The Dinos got off to a good start towards that goal as they held on for a 3-2 win over North Sanpete on the road on Tuesday afternoon.

The Dinos took a 2-0 lead into halftime and held on in the second half to come away with the victory.

Dakota Powell scored two goals for the Dinos and Andrew Gagnon added another.

The Dinos (2-4-1 overall, 1-0-0 Region 12) will host Spanish Fork on Monday, March 25 for their next game . The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. at the Carbon High Soccer Field.
