After losing their first eight games of the season, the USU Eastern baseball team has turned things around going 7-3 over their last 10 games with better at-bats on offense and a pitching staff getting better with each outing.

Head coach Scott Madsen said his team has been making improvements in all areas with each game.

"We've played fairly well recently and going 7-3 over our last 10 games is helping us to have a high outlook for the rest of the season," said Madsen.

The Golden Eagles will host Dawson Community College for doubleheaders starting March 14 (1 p.m.), Friday, March 15 (Noon) and Saturday, March 16 (9 a.m.) at the USU Eastern Baseball Field.
