teachers win awards
Two teachers at the Castle Valley Center in Price have received the Dr. Ken Reavis Distinguished Service Award at a recent UATT, Utah Assistive Technology Teams, conference held in Provo.
Judy Olson, (Right) a speech pathologist and member of the UATT team for 23 years, was recognized for outstanding service resulting in enhanced communication skills of students with disabilities.
Marla Marshall, a special education teacher has spent 25 years working with students who have special needs. Marla is a founding member of the Carbon/Emery team.
They both work each day to improve the lives of students with severe disabilities and special needs here in this area.
