Job's Daughters

Bethel 3 of Price Utah of Job's Daughters International has resumed meetings for the spring term. If you are a young lady between the ages of 10 and 20 and would like more information about joining our organization, please contact Lisa Ockey 820-1029. Back Country Horse Packing Clinic

Saturday, March 23, 2013, Carbon County Fairgrounds Indoor Arena, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Free event. Come learn various hitches or if you're experienced, come share your knowledge. Demonstrations on barrels with plenty of practice time for everyone. Learn to tie a High Line and other Leave No Trace camping techniques, and horse care in the back country. Lenten Lunches

at the United Methodist Church in Price Wednesdays from 12 noon-1 p.m. February 13-March 20. Brought to you by the United Methodist Women and the Ministerial Alliance, all proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County.

The Other Side of Utah Art & Photography Exhibition

Submissions are currently being accepted for this exhibit at the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum. The Exhibit will run February 23-May 10, 2013. Submissions will be accepted February 12-16 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Musuem. Limit of two entries per person, entried 30 inches or more in one direction are limited to one per person. Head Start Preschool

FAFSSO

is a support group for Family and Friends of Same Sex Oriented individuals. This group meets to provide a supportive community and safe haven for families and friends who are struggling with concerns and questions about gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual issues that loved ones are experiencing. Join us to talk with others who have already gone through what you are going through. We meet at the USU/College of Eastern Utah on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the board room of the Jennifer Leavitt student center. All are welcome. Free Women's Volleyball

every Tueseday and Thursday at 10 a.m. until noon. Come check it out and bring a friend. Everyone is welcome. There is space for children to play. Casual, friendly atmosphere. Tumbling

Carbon Rec.'s tumbling program continues on Tuesdays at the Light House High School. You can begin anytime. The fee is $18 per month. The instructor is Pineau Nielson. This program is for all kids ages three and up. .

Kindergarten first grade instructional Basketball

Carbon Rec. is currently taking registrations for their Kindergarten, first grade instructional basketball program. The fee is $18. Instruction will begin January 16. Play will be one day a week right after school. Mondays they will meet at Wellington and Pinnacle Canyon, Tuesdays at Sally Mauro, Wednesdays at Castle Heights and Thursdays at Creekview.

The Southeast Early Intervention Program

is a State and Federal home based program providing services to assist families in promoting developmental skills in children birth to three years of age. Contact Price office 637-3950 or Castle Dale office 381-2667.

Early Head Start

A FREE fun program serving prenatals and children of all development levels ages 0-3. The program offers educational, social-emotional, and health services along with family support and fun activities. Call 613-9492 or stop by at 745 E. 200 S. in Price for an application.
