After working hard over the past four months through a long and grueling season, the Carbon High boys and girls basketball teams are hoping that hard work will translate into success in the first round of the 3A State Tournament.

For the boys, a loss to Delta on Feb. 7 has them packing for a trip to Region 11 #1 Morgan High on Friday night at 7 p.m.

The boys will need to put a tough finish to the season behind them as they prepare to face a team that has won 14 straight games.

For the girls, playing on their own homecourt will be a comfort as the Lady Dinos will host Stansbury on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the CHS Gymnasium.

The Lady Dinos will be looking to advance to advance far in the playoffs as they have done in years past.
