Lady Dinos fall to Delta, finish second in Region 12

A slow start on offense for the Lady Dinos led to an early deficit and ultimately a 40-24 loss on the road to Delta on Thursday night.

The game had an impact on the Region 12 standings as a CHS win would have created a tie for the top spot in Region 12.

Delta jumped out to a 22-7 lead at the half and led 37-17 after three quarters. Both teams struggled in the final quarter as the Lady Dinos were unable to overcome the large deficit.

With the loss, the Lady Dinos (15-6, 8-2 Region 12) clinched the number #2 seed from Region 12 and will host a home playoff game against Stansbury on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Carbon High Gymnasium.
