Lawrence "Larry" M. Neumeier passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at his home in Henderson. He was born in Dragerton, the baby of 11 children. Throughout his life he has lived in Utah, Wyoming, and Nevada.
Larry was a 59-year-old Downs Syndrome male who throughout his life gave much love and humor to those he met. He never knew a stranger, everyone was somebody he knew or he thought they knew him from when he was little. Larry was a "HAM", a good dancer, an Elvis fan and had to be the star of the show. He was an avid sports fan, especially if it involved the New York Yankees or the Chicago Bears; he would take it personally if they lost. Larry was also a great bowler and had won many medals and trophies from Special Olympics to show for his love of the game.
Preceding Larry in death were his parents, Justin & Katie, sister, Mary Irene, and brothers, Justin J. and James K.
He is survived by siblings, Katie Redosh, Henderson, Nev., Jerry (Carol), St. George, Pat German, Moab, Sue (Bill) Huggins, Henderson, Nev., Doris (Frank) Miller, Wellington, Elizabeth (Keith) Justesen, Henderson, Nev., Peggy (Kent) Lindquist, Moab, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
