Former Carbon College athletes inducted into hall of fame

Alan "Nick" Nelson is presented a plaque naming him to the College of Eastern Utah's sports hall of fame. Current CEU athletic director, Dave Paur presented Nelson with the award last Saturday evening at the annual Founder's Day dinner. Nelson competed for the CEU football team in the 1950s and also played baseball at the college. Along with Nelson, Boyd Bell was also inducted into the prestigous hall of fame for his contributions to the college's football, basketball and baseball teams in the late 1950s.
