By JOHN SERFUSTINI
Sun Advocate associate editor

A burglar or burglars with plenty of time to search went through the Carbon Recreation Department offices over the long weekend, making off with valuable, portable electronic gear.

Recreation director Steve Christensen said the building was entered by breaking a basement window, reaching through the hole in the glass, and raising the window.

"Whenever they did it, they had plenty of time to jimmy several doors and look around," Christensen said.

No computers or recreational gear were missing, but several cameras and GPS units were stolen. Price Police are investigating.
