HERRIMAN/EAST CARBON - Our loving wife, mother, sister and good friend, Sally Lou Robinson Lewis, age 54, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at her home in Herriman.
She was born May 2, 1958 in Dragerton to William and Millie Gross Robinson.
Married Walter Lewis, Jr., on April 22, 1982 and they raised their boys in Helper.
Sally loved decorating her home, talking to family and friends on the phone, her faith, watching her boys play sports and ensuring all around her were loved.
She will always be remembered for her kind, generous heart and her enormous love for her children.
Sally is survived by her husband, Walter Jr. (Herriman); her two sons, Reggie (Chicago, Ill.) and Jamal (Jerome, Idaho); her sisters, Claudia Krissman (San Jose, Calif.), Christy Wright (Grand Junction, Colo.), Carla Gallegos (Price); and her brother Billy Robinson (Federal Way, Wash.); and countless family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clyde Robinson.
Funeral service was held on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, Noon, East Carbon Community Church. Family was at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price) on Sunday evening from 5 - 7 p.m. and at the church in East Carbon Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Sally at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
