The Pinnacle High Girl's Basketball team struggled offensively against Whitehorse as they fell to their Region 19 opponent 47-29 on Saturday afternoon.

Pinnacle trailed 26-17 at halftime and were outscored by Whitehorse 21-12 in the second half as the Lady Raiders pulled away for the victory.

Ashia Andrews led Pinnacle with nine points.

Pinnacle had opportunities to cut the Whitehorse lead in the second half, but struggles at the free-throw line (7-of-18, 39 percent) kept the Lady Panthers from making the comeback.

Pinnacle is now 3-11 on the season and 1-3 in Region 19 play.
