PRICE- Our loving mother, sister, daughter and friend, Tonia Dawn Spooner, age 41, passed away peacefully Jan. 12, 2013 at her home in Price.
She was born Feb. 14, 1971 in Puyallup, Wash. to Wesley Paul and Kathleen Bone Hilliard.
Married Steven Lee Spooner in Price. He died February 25, 2005.
Tonia loved spending time with her family and friends especially her children. She had a great love for gardening and enjoyed listening to music, playing volleyball and especially Betty Boop. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her loving children, Alissa Dawn Peters, Tristan Michael Peters, Calista Marie Spooner, Paul Allen Spooner, all of Price; father and step mother, Wesley Paul (Susan) Hilliard, Huntington; mother, Kathy Hilliard, Huntington; sister-in-law, Jackie Hilliard, Huntington; sister, Tina (Jesus) Maldonado, Springville; brother, Jason Courtney (Crystal) Wilmer, Panguich; brother, Joseph Arthur Wilmer, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Evelyn Mikell (Charles) Ebner, Speed, Kan.
Preceded in death by her husband, Steven Spooner; grandmother, Rene Lopez.
Funeral service, Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, Noon, Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 -7 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service at the mortuary. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery, Huntington. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Tonia online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
In lieu of flowers family suggest memorial contributions be made to Eastern Utah Community Credit Union in the Tonia Spooner Memorial Fund.
