HELPER - Emroy Charles Milano, age 91, passed away peacefully Dec. 19, 2012 at Parkdale Care Center in Price.
He was born April 17, 1921 in Carbonville to Dominic and Julia McKendrick Milano.
Married Ramona Cassingham, June 11, 1948 in Provo and they were blessed with four wonderful children.
Chuck was a longtime resident of the Helper where he retired from Utah Railway as a Locomotive Engineer after 42 years of dedicated service. He was staunch member of the union and helped organize the B.L.E. Division # 888. Chuck enjoyed the outdoors, his trips to Flaming Gorge and especially walking up Hardscrabble Canyon with his faithful companion "Duke". He loved the scenery of the area and had everything he needed from the comforts of his home. Chuck took great pride in his home and yard. He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all.
Survived by his wife, Mona Milano, Helper; three daughters and one son, Judie (Roger) Ard, Boise, Idaho, Geri (Larry) Thornton, Koosharem, Kathy Martin, Elk Ridge, Rick (Paula) Milano, Helper; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, brother, Dominic; infant brother, Evans; and son-in-law, Dan Martin.
Funeral service, Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, 2 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Saturday one hour prior to services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Chuck at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
