The Utah Permanent Community Impact Board suspended the rules of their regularly scheduled project review meeting to vote on and approve an emergency funding request from the Price River Water Improvement District.

PRWID requested and received $360,000 in funds as a loan at 2.5 percent interest for 15 years. The funds will be used to replace a sewer maintenance truck which was destroyed in a truck-train collision in Wellington in November.

The vehicle is used by various water districts in the region to prevent sewage overflow and back-ups in their sewage systems.
