The Carbon High girls basketball team came away with a 2-1 record after taking part in a tournament in Fruita, Colo.

The Lady Dinos defeated Columbine High 46-30 on Thursday and followed that up with 35-21 loss to Grand Junction, Colo., on Friday and a 47-41 win over Fountain-Fort Carson, Colo., on Saturday.

In their win over Columbine, the Lady Dinos started slow but finished with a fury scoring 23 points in the fourth quarter to secure their opening game win.

Against Grand Junction, the offense struggled all game long as the Lady Dinos scored just six points in the first half while connecting on just eight field goals all game.

The Lady Dinos ended the tournament on a high note with a comeback win over Fountain-Fort Carson.

The team ended the game on a 15-5 run that put the game away.

The Lady Dinos will return home on Thursday when they host Lehi for a game starting at 7 p.m.
