Two juveniles from Helper who have been missing since Nov. 29 were found by police in California on Monday night.

According to a press release from the Helper City Police Department, the two missing juveniles, Mattea Jeffs (08-16-1995) and Jesse Turner (04-03-1996) were located by the Los Angeles City Police Department in California.

Acting on a tip they received, the LAPD checked out an address of a home in Hollywood, Calif., at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Monday, the report said. There police discovered both Jeffs and Turner at the residence. Both were said to be in good condition.

The pair were taken into protective custody until arrangements can be made to return them to their families.

The Sun Advocate will post more about the story as it becomes available.
