Price city crews grind up the branches trimmed off trees near the College of Eastern Utah campus. Similar work is going on throughout the county as various crews trim trees away from utility lines. The crews frequently cut down trees and trim branches on private property where utility lines cross. Workers generally try to obtain permission, but can enter private property if the residents are not at home. Most easements specify that workers have the right to enter private property and deal with trees or plants interfering with the utility lines.
