The USU Eastern Golden Eagles wasted little time in spreading their wings on the offensive side of the ball as they swept the Southern Colorado Kings on Friday and Saturday evening.

The Golden Eagles rolled to 113-85 win on Friday night and followed that up with a 99-81 win on Saturday. In the two games, the Golden Eagles averaged 106 points per game.

Jason Timpf led the Golden Eagles with a double-double in both games as he had 17 points and 16 rebounds on Friday followed by 21 points and 14 rebounds on Saturday.

Miles Gatewood led the team on offense averaging 22 points per game over the two games.

USU Eastern (6-3) will finish their non-conference schedule with a tournament in Twin Falls, Idaho on Friday and Saturday.
