PRICE - Our loving mother, grandmother, neighbor and cherished friend, Mary Bianco Jones Trabue, age 91, passed away suddenly Nov. 28, 2012 at Castleview Hospital in Price.
She was born Aug. 7, 1921 in Kenilworth to Pete and Domenica Besso Bianco.
On April 2, 1965, she married Eugene "Gene" Trabue in Price and he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1990.
Mary was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church where she was honored as Catholic Woman of the Year in 1997. She was a very gracious individual who was always assisting with many charitable fundraisers throughout the community. Whether she was selling raffle tickets or assisting funeral luncheons, Mary was there to help those in need. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she was especially proud of her grandchildren and their accomplishments. Mary never missed a birthday and she wished the best for everyone.
Mary honorably served her country in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a proud member of the American Legion. She was a member of the Price Ladies of Elks where she was Sergeant at Arms. Anyone that knew Mary, knew that she loved to visit, especially talk on the phone. She looked forward to her special lunch dates and her gambling trips to Wendover. Everyone will miss the twinkle in her eye and her voice ringing out on the other end of the phone.
Survived by her daughter and son, Pat (Scott) Robertson, Spring Glen, Richard H. Jones, Salt Lake City; Five grandchildren, Todd (Jennifer) Robertson, Rick (Ronnie) Jones, Traci (Victor) Jarrett, Teddi (Troy) Akins and Robby Jones; and eight wonderful great-grandchildren who where the apple of her eye.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Antionette Bianco; and husband, Gene.
Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service took place on Friday evening 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price). Committal service, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
