Kaylee Hurtado, Kearston Hamblin and Kayla Maynes, with their sixth grade instructor Mrs. Hardy, take the Bear Cave oath. During the ceremony, students promise to uphold the expectations of the school while being a role model for their peers. Students are selected for the honor at Bruin Point Elementary based on attendance, grades, service projects and citizenship. The Sun Advocate is running this caption to make a name correction to the photo's first printing.
