Huntington Canyon Trailhead

Ferron/Price Ranger District

	On November 16, 2012, Ferron/Price District Ranger Darren Olsen
signed the Huntington Canyon Trailhead Improvements Decision Memo
authorizing construction of trailhead improvements at the Horse Canyon
Trailhead in Huntington Canyon.  The trailhead is located in Emery
County adjacent to Utah State Highway 31 in section 29, T15 S, R 7E.  

	Improvements will include construction of a graveled parking area
approximately 0.15 acres in size, resurfacing of the existing
trailhead access road with gravel, decommissioning of one campsite
where the parking area will be constructed, and installation of a new
trailhead kiosk and fire ring.  

	This decision is not subject to appeal pursuant to Forest Service
regulations at 36 CFR 215.12 as no substantive comments expressing
concern or only supportive comments were received during the comment
period.  Project construction activities may be implemented
immediately after publication of this decision.
