A view of the election

I would like to give my take on how the vote went in the recent election. This election destroyed conservatism, in the United States of America. I'm sure that makes the liberals smile. There will only be one way of governing and that is the liberal way. Things always work better when you have two points of view, like union and non union, like business and union. So, to you 2,000 plus voters in Carbon County, who went with the national trend, here is my understanding of what you voted for and against: 1- You voted against the life blood and economy of Carbon and Emery Counties. You voted fora man, who vowed to shut down the coal mining industry and against a man who vowed to support it. Mining jobs, truck driving jobs, support businesses for the mining industry jobs, retail merchant jobs, food service jobs, construction company jobs, power plant jobs and the list goes on and on; are what you voted against. What about the UMWA and their take on this? What did they do? 2-You voted fora man, who says he is for the middle class and yet, middle class family incomes have dropped nearly $ 5,000 per year under him. 3- You voted for a man who declared war on the largest Christian religion (Catholic) in this country, and did away with the national day of prayer, while celebrating another religion's holiday on the White House grounds. You voted against a man who said he would protect religious freedom. 4- You voted fora man who, after 4 years, is still blaming his predecessor and everything else and said, "I didn't realize how bad the economy was". You voted against one who would accept responsibility for the presidency on day one, who knows what kind of a mess we are in. 5- You voted fora man who believes that it is alright to drive an object into the brain of a living human being, whose head is all that is exposed during it's birth (partial birth abortion), and against a man who says that a baby is a living human being, and has rights of it's own. 6- You voted for a man who says that America is not an exceptional nation and against one who says that it is. 7- You voted for a man who said, " Voting is the best revenge" (revenge against whom or what?) and against a man who said, "Vote for love of country". 8- You voted fora man, under whose watch, gas prices have more than doubled, who stopped a pipe line, against union protests, in favor of environmental interests ( every dollar spent for oil, in the Middle East, is money used to kill our soldiers) and against a man who wanted to have America energy independent. 9- You voted fora man who buys votes by giving things to people and against one who wants people to have jobs to maintain themselves. 10- You voted fora man and his party, who claim to champion social security and medicare, knowing full well that they are unsustainable in their present form(had 2 years of complete control, to fix it), and failing to do anything about it, but talk. You voted against a man who was willing to fix it, for future generations, and not affect anyone who is on it or will be on it, in the next 10 years. 11- You voted fora first lady who said, on video, "All this fuss over a flag(our flag)", and a president nodding his head in agreement. 12- You voted fora man who said he would cut the debt in half and instead doubled it. 13- You voted for a man whose administration gave millions of your tax dollars, to an Oregon university, to save his brother-in-law's job as basketball coach. 14- You voted fora man who told President Medvedev, of Russia; to tell Vladomir Putin, that after he was re-elected "He would have more leeway"( leeway to do what?). 15- You voted fora man, whose administration refused beefed up security, for one of our consulates, with 911 coming up and 4 Americans were killed on American soil. My wife and I discussed the possibility of this happening, somewhere on that day. Two ex Navy Seals kept that fight going for over 6 hours and died waiting for help, with the White House watching it live. These four are heroes and were deserted by the those who should have been looking out for them. 16- You voted for a man with a failed record and against a man with a proven record as a business man. The debates proved that. It was live and the president didn't have the liberal press to protect him. 17- You voted fora man, who was offered 5 million dollars to his favorite charity, if he would release his university transcripts and refused and you voted against a man who released the tax returns, required by law, and was criticized for not releasing more. I could go on and on, but it will serve no purpose. Americans have bought into everything this president has said. You missed your chance Americans. With Obama, it will be "Business as usual" in Washington. I am a proud American and I vote on principles, facts and people. I'm not afraid to stand up and be counted. I wrote this on Thursday, after the election. Since then I hear that miners are laid off in Carbon County and that the VERY NEXT MORNING after the election, Ken Salazar was in Salt Lake doing away with already approved energy leases and headed other places to do more. Liberals have driven the final nail into America's coffin, if the old, long standing America is what we want. If a new America, that looks like the rest of the world, is what you want; you got it. Now, we all live with your choices. I would really appreciate one of you local Obama supporters to help me understand the logic you used to make up your mind. I used facts in my explanation; please do the same, if any choose to respond. Good luck America, may God support you; because your government and a majority of your citizens don't.
