PRICE - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, Rose Colombo Zupon passed away peacefully in the early morning of Nov. 17, 2012 at the Beehive Home in Price at the age of 93.
She was born March 8, 1919 in Sunnyside to Pietro and Ida Agostinetti Colombo.
Married Frank Zupon, Jr., June 12, 1937 in Price; he died May 13, 1990.
Mom was a faithful and active member of the Price Chapel-Christian Missionary Alliance of Price. Her love for her family was only surpassed by her love for the Lord. She would always put others needs before her own. Rose leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, compassion and will be surely missed by all who had the privilege of being touched by her warm heart and caring soul. We will remember her sweet smile, treasure her handmade afghans and miss her delicious pastries and fabulous cooking.
Rose is survived by her children, Vivian (John) Bon, Nevada, Kenneth Zupon, South Jordan, Franklin (Shirley) Zupon, Price; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and her favorite granddog Pete.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Dr. Frank Colombo; sister, Mary Hirdman; and daughter-in-law, Anna Zupon.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E. Main Street) Price. Family will be at Mitchell's Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Rose at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
