The full text of the "Proposed Land Use Plan Amendments for Allocation of Oil Shale and Tar Sands Resources on Lands Administered by the Bureau of Land Management in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming and Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement" (Final OSTS PEIS) is now available for public viewing on the 2012 Oil Shale & Tar Sands Programmatic EIS Information Center (http://ostseis.anl.gov/documents/peis2012/).

The Bureau of Land Management has prepared the Final OSTS PEIS to evaluate potential impacts associated with oil shale and tar sands resources leasing and development on lands administered by the BLM in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. The BLM considered all comments submitted on the Draft OSTS PEIS during preparation of the Final OSTS PEIS.

Publication of a Notice of Availability (NOA) of a FEIS does not trigger a formal public comment period.
