Pinnacle High School had three runners compete in the state cross country meet at Sugarhouse Park: Jake Hardy, Luke Cristando and Bodie Barker. Jake and Luke are both seniors. Bodie is a freshman.

At the meet, Luke placed 81st with a time of 21.47, and Jake placed 56th a time of 20.21.

Cristando said "I am glad I decided to run cross country again, and I'm also glad that I got to end it going to state."

Hardy said, "I'm glad I was able to go, but I wish I had prepared more."

Barker said, "I thought it was fun, and I might try again next year."

Overall, the season was a success. Coach Connie Tucker was proud of her team and the work that they put in, and she is looking forward to next year.
