SPRING GLEN - Archie Francis Anderson, age 64, passed away Oct. 24, 2012 in Price after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

He was born Oct. 20, 1948 in Price to Archie L. and Roma Pugliese Anderson. Archie was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1966.

On April 17, 1971, he married Frances Curtis in Price.

Arch owned and operated Airport Service and F & A Muff-N-Stuff for many years. He always made sure that the doors to the shop were open and he was willing to help anyone in need. He made many lasting friendships over the years and his sense of humor kept everyone coming back for more. He loved to give everyone a nickname, and when he did it definitely stuck. Arch loved to mechanic and to do anything with cars.

He was the best husband, son, dad and grandpa that anyone could ask for. Arch loved spending time with his grandkids, whether it was little league, dancing or shooting he was always there cheering them on. In 2010, Arch retired and spent most of his time doing whatever he wanted, especially hanging out at Parts Plus. Archie could put a smile on anyone's face and if he liked you, you knew it.

Survived by his mom, Roma Anderson, Helper; wife, Frances Anderson, Spring Glen; son, Frank (Stacy) Anderson, Wellington; daughter Cindy (Kooper) Pierce, Miller Creek; four grandchildren, Jordon Pierce, Miller Creek, Landen, Landrie and Lanie Anderson, all of Wellington; his faithful companion, Rusty; and his favorite horses, Jack and Rose.
