No procrastination for early voters

Voters show their identification and sign in to cast their early voting ballots Tuesday at the County Courthouse. By the end of the first day, 273 electronic ballots had been filed. On Wednesday afternoon before polls closed, the two-day count was at 460. In contrast, the number of early votes cast during the entire two-week period of the primary elections was 533. Voting continues next week Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on next Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General election is Nov. 6.
