WELLINGTON - Barbara Hunt age 90, passed away on Oct. 18, 2012 in Price. She was born on Nov. 13, 1921 in Price to George Washington and Grace Woolsey Waterman. She married Samuel S. Hunt on March 28, 1950 in Price and was later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple in 1965.
Barbara and her family moved often as her husband Sam served in the U.S. Navy, they lived in Hawaii, Florida, California, Nevada, Midway Island and eventually returned to Wellington. Barbara loved to quilt and crochet, she was fun loving and had a great sense of humor. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Sam Hunt, Dennis Hunt, Bruce Hunt all of Winnemucca, Nev., Darlene (Max) Conder, Wellington, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary Chapel (680 E. 100 S., Price). A viewing will be held prior to the service at the mortuary from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
