Thelma Flaim Saccomanno, age 96, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at her home in Aurora, Colo.
She was born in Sioux City, Iowa on Nov. 15, 1915 to John Arthur Rask and Edna Danforth Rask.
Thelma married Ernest Silvio Flaim on Sept. 17, 1934 in Helper. He died on May 4, 1966. She later married Joseph Anthony Saccomanno in Helper on June 24, 1967. He died Nov. 22, 1990.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ernalee Nelson, Aurora, Colo.
She is survived by her son-in-law Kenneth Nelson, step-daughter, Bette Jo Chavez, Salt Lake City; two grandchildren, Bradley (Karla) Nelson, Lochbuie, Colo; Kathy (Bruce) Martin, Greeley, Colo; two great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She moved to Aurora, Colo., in 1992 and is a member of St. Michael Church, Aurora, Colo. Her ashes will one day be placed in the family plot in the Helper Cemetery.
