Morgan Jensen, a 13-year-old Mont Harmon Jr. High student, captured the title of the Western States Rodeo Association Barrel Racing Champion for the 2012 rodeo series riding Go Meggie Go.

Morgan competed in the Western States Rodeo Association throughout the state this summer, along with the Rocky Mountain Professional Rodeo Association. and the Utah Junior High Rodeo Association, where she is currently sitting in 3rd in the State of Utah in the Barrel Racing event and in the top 10 in Pole Bending riding her young horse "Slider".

Morgan has qualified in her events that will allow her to compete for the state finals competition in June in Heber City.

She also has her sights set on the National Jr. High finals in Gallup, N.M., in July of 2013.

Morgan loves her horses and the sport of rode she comes by this naturally since her family, Jill and Monte Jensen and older brother Zach Jensen all compete themselves in rodeo events.
