    BLM Announces Public Comment Period FOR Emery TeLcom Ford Ridge
Fiber Optic Line EA

	Price, Utah-The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Price Field Office
announces the public comment period for the proposed Emery Telcom Ford
Ridge Fiber Optic Line Environmental Assessment (EA). The EA was made
available for public comment on the Environmental Notification
Bulletin Board on September 25, 2012 and comments will be accepted
until close of business on Friday, October 19, 2012. The EA describes
the potential impacts of Emery Telcom's proposall to install a fiber
optic line across Federal lands in Carbon and Utah County, Utah,

	The BLM is considering granting a right-of-way (ROW) to Emery Telcom
to install a fiber optic communication line for the purpose of
providing service to the communication sites located on Ford Ridge.
All activities associated with construction, operation, and
maintenance of the line would be within the authorized limits of the
ROW. Any fulure realignment, reconstruction, or maintenance outside
the authorized area must be authorized by amending the ROW.

	Additional information about this project is included in the EA
available for public review and comment. An electronic copy of the EA
can be found on the BLM's Environmental Notification Bulletin Board
(ENBB) at https://www.blm.gov/ut/enbb/index.php or a hard copy can be
obtained from the Price Field Office upon request. Comments which
contain only opinions or preferences will not receive a formal
response. However, they will be considered in the BLM decision-making
process. The most useful comments are those that identify
alternatives, identify issues relevant to the proposal, or contain new
technical or scientific information.

	Please reference the Emery Telcom Ford Ridge Fiber Optic Line EA when
submitting comments. Comments, including names, e-mail addresses, and
street addresses of respondents will be available for public review at
the BLM Price Field Office during regular business hours (7:45 a.m. to
4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday), except federal holidays.

	Please include a mailing or e-mail address, phone number, or other
personal identifying information with comments. The BLM will not
consider anonymous comments. Individual respondents may request
confidentiality. If you wish to withhold your name, street address, or
email address from public review and disclosure under the FOIA, you
must state this prominently at the beginning of your written comment.
Such requests will be honored to the extent allowed by law. All
submissions from organizations or businesses will be made available
for public inspection in their entirety.

	Written comments will be accepted during the public comment period
from September 25-October 19, 2012. Please submit written comments to:
