Harley Ann Migliori, a student at Wellington Elementary, won the American Quarter Horse Association's inaugural Novice Championship with youth aged mares class as well as the Champion of Champions award.
Migliori won the award with Secure Kid, a 2005 AQHA mare owned by Bob and Peggy Migliori of RPM Quarter Horses in Price.
Bob and Peggy's yearling filly Shesa Telusives Kid won the yearling fillies class at the championships.
