USU Eastern remembers Coach Brad Barton

Students, faculty and other members of the USU Eastern community gathered on Thursday evening to remember former basketball coach Brad Barton. The memorial, which took place one year after Barton's passing, included a candle lighting ceremony and a chance for friends of Barton to share stories of how he impacted their lives and of so many others on campus and in the community. Those who attended were also able to write down personal messages in a book that was presented to Barton's family and pick up bracelets to wear with one of Barton's favorite life sayings: "Living the Dream".
