BOUNTIFUL - Our loving husband and father, William Edmund Page, Jr., age 83, passed away Sept. 24, 2012 in Bountiful.
He was the youngest of three children born to William Edmund and Lenore DeCamp Page on May 2, 1929 in Salt Lake City.
Bill lived life to the fullest and as a young man he played the saxophone for a popular dance band. After being drafted into the Army he became a Paratrooper and a Golden Glove Boxing Champion. Most of his military career was spent as an airborne infantry platoon leader in Korea. After being discharged from the Army he joined the Air Force to become a pilot and later worked as an Air Force air traffic controller.
Bill worked for the Salt Lake Police Department until he graduated from college. He became an IRS agent and spent many years working as a self employed certified public accountant.
Bill is survived by his wife Louette Gorishek Page; son, Craig (Chrissy) Page; brother-in-law, Louis (Penny) Gorishek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Wishart and Ralph.
Graveside service, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, 11 a.m., Price City Cemetery.
