The Lady Dinos went out on a high note in their final home region match of the season as they defeated Payson on Tuesday afternoon at the Price City Tennis courts.
Head coach Tom Alleman said it was "nice to end on a winning note" at home with the girls playing very well.
"All of the girls have improved steadily over the season and yesterday (Tuesday) was their best play yet," said Alleman.
Alleman said players who played very well included Alex Richens, the Lady Dinos' number one singles player, who won in straight sets.
The doubles teams of Mariela Navarro and Madison Alleman and Lucinda Acosta and Kaydee Gilson defeated their opponents in three sets.
"The entire team did a great job," he said.
The Lady Dinos have three more region matches on the road before the Region Tournament on Sept. 28. The team will travel to Spanish Fork today for a region match.
