Wildlife Resources offers youth shooting opportunity

The Division of Wildlife Resources in Price will offer Castle Country youth the opportunity to do some shooting with a .22 rifle on Saturday, Sept. 29. Shooting fun will take place at the North Springs Shooting Range south of Price. The event is free and youth up to 18 years old may participate. The Division will supply the rifles, ammunition, targets, supervision, as well as eye and ear protection.

Now that big game hunting seasons are getting underway, kids may be interested in shooting sports, but may not have the opportunity to see if shooting is something they would enjoy doing. This is especially true if mom and dad don't have a firearm in the home. This is an opportunity for parents to see if shooting is something your son or daughter wants to try.

Pre-registration is required. For more information or to pre-register, please call Brent Stettler at 435-613-3707.
