A very, very wrong turn in Price

The driver of this big rig was on his way to Salt Lake City with a light load of rebar containers Wednesday morning when he got lost in Price and wound up on Park Avenue above Pioneer Park. He was trying to turn around but the trailer was far longer than the width of the road. The rear wheels went off the edge of the stone wall, causing minor damage to the wall and a street sign before coming to rest on the grass several yards away from the pioneer cabins and the newly-restored pioneer woman statue. It took a heavy-duty crane to hoist the trailer back on the road in the right direction. The driver, 56-year-old Neil Murphy of Colorado, was unhurt.
