This was the view of the southern sky from Carbonville Thursday morning, as unusual lights drew a lot of attention. The lights appeared between 6 and 6:30 a.m. and lasted past sunrise. The lights, wispy with some bright spots in them, were reportedly a missile test done at the White Sands, N.M. test range. The test was using two missiles with one intercepting the other and blowing it up. Social media from around the west buzzed about the sight which, could be seen over multiple states.
