A display of prints from Australia will grace the walls at Gallery East during the month of March. A print is a multiple-original creation placed on paper which comes into direct contact with a stone, plate, wood block or silk screen worked upon by the artist, which was personally controlled, in many instances, throughout the entire printing of the edition. Included in the exhibit is a surrealistic look at the world called The Golden Motorcycle by Reg Mombassa. Some of the prints, including Mombassa's creation, are monochrome while others are in full color. When the print exhibit concludes at the end of March, the CEU student art display will take place at the gallery.
