PRICE - LaRon C. Cloward, age 87, passed away Sept. 4, 2012 in Price.
He was born Aug. 11, 1925 in Moroni to Charles Edward and Lillian Nielson Cloward.
LaRon married Wanda Powell on Nov. 28, 1952 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She passed away July 5, 2003.
LaRon was a lifetime farmer, rancher and resident of Carbon County where he worked many years for TN Jensen and the Marsings. He loved hunting, fishing and working with his hands in the outdoors. LaRon had many good friends and was a friend to everyone he met. His quick whit and charm will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his children, Ann (Art) Sandoval, David (Debra) Cloward, Judy (Bill) Burton, John (Michelle) Cloward, Jimmy (Cindy) Cloward, Charles Cloward; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters- in-law.
Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Wanda; infant son, Bruce; grandson, Carly Burton; great-granddaughter, Kamdyn Cloward and three brothers.
Funeral service, Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of LaRon online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
