Notice and Service by Publication of Petition in General Determination Action

	Bill Barrett Corporation had filed a petition for an expedited
hearing in IN THE MATTER OF THE GENERAL DETERMINATION OF ALL THE
RIGHTS TO THE USE OF WATER BOTH SURFACE AND UNDERGROUND WITHIN THE
DRAINAGE AREA OF THE UINTAH BASIN AND THE LOWER GREEN RIVER BASIN IN
UTAH, an action in the Eighth District Court, Duschene County, Case
No. 560800056 (the "Action"), to quiet title to water rights 90-24 and
90-196 in connection with certain real property located in Carbon
County.  

	The following water rights may be implicated by Bill Barrett's
petition: 90-184, 90-185, 90-186, 90-187, 90-188, 90-189, 90-190,
90-191, 90-197, 90-299; 90-1814, 90-1815, 90-1816, 90-1817, 90-1818,
90-1819, 90-1820, 90-1821, 90-1822, 90-1823, 90-1824, and 90-1825. 

	All other persons unknown, claiming any right, title, estate or
interest in, or lien upon the real property described in the Petition
adverse to the Petitioner's ownership, or clouding its title thereto
may appear and participate in the Action by filing an answer or other
response to the Petition within twenty days of publication of this
Notice.  A copy of the Petition may be obtained from the Clerk of the
Court or from Jonathan R. Schutz, 175 South Main, #1330, Salt Lake
City, Utah  84111, Tel. No. 801-359-3663.  Anyone filing an answer or
other response to the Petition should mail a copy to Jonathan R.
Schutz at the listed address.
